I just can't wait for all the sweet puns the commentators will make up if Butcher's any good...
"Ohhh he's gonna put him on the Butcher Block!"
"That's a top serloin right there folks!"
"He's going for the New York strip tonight ladies and gentlemen!"
"Actually I think he might be tearing a strip off New York instead Bill" huehuehue |

Who am I hearing is interested?
Almost everyone...but the top names as of right now...the Devils, Leafs, Sabres, and Canadiens...Don't rule out Vancouver, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Vegas, or even Chicago...
A source tells me 22 other teams are interested, behind the scenes |

Butcher is an AHL D-man
I watched him play for the Pioneers a bunch last season.
He's not that good.
Kerfoot didn't see much of but I know his dad is a billionaire in Vancouver |

A young, Hobey Baker winning defenseman who could be had for nothing.
I would hope every team is interested. |

Just wanna say that I'm impressed with Colorado fans. Last year, Nashville fans (one in particular) were whining for months when they found out Vesey was going to be a FA. Colorado fans are more or less finding humor in it. |

Yeah they probably won't do anything at all to alleviate the cap a bit by then |

They will, but it probably wont be anything better then dumping a RNH for draft choices or 4th line low cost players just to get cap relieve. |

That would be an awful trade...I'd imagine RNH still has a pretty good value on the market. |
